White bird, painted wall

Cockatoos are Australian. This one lives in Thailand, on a perch outside a shop, and it has opinions about everyone who walks past. It raised its crest when I stopped, which is the cockatoo way of saying it has noticed you.
A Sulphur-crested Cockatoo is a big, pure white parrot with a lemon-yellow crest, and it can live for seventy years or more. Some outlive their owners. This one looked like it had been here a long time and expected to be here a long time more.
The mural behind it is every colour at once, and the bird is none of them. That contrast is the picture.
